Collection: Amitabha Buddha Thangka

According to Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, Amitabha was once a king who later renounced his throne to become a monk named Dharmakara. He made profound vows to save all sentient beings, declaring that if anyone from the ten directions sincerely wished to be reborn in his Pure Land and recited his name up to ten times without attaining rebirth there, he would not achieve Perfect Enlightenment.
